SGi Makes the Move to Phoenix House

Following 5 years in 40 Peter Street, SGi Consulting Engineers have signed a lease to occupy the 3rd floor of Phoenix House on Cross Street.

As the pandemic has brought changes to our working practices along with many others, SGi still believes having an office in the heart of the city centre of Manchester is integral to their future growth and longevity.

Phoenix House is located in the centre and offers modern facilities to allow the adaptation of more sustainable travel, especially for employees who choose to cycle to work allowing them to store their bikes in the cycle store and access the showering facilities.

Currently less than 10% of the staff at SGi cycle in and out of work however with the enhanced facilities this is predicted to rise to 25% in the first year.

Phoenix House offers high quality self-contained suites with a fully fitted kitchenetter and board rooms. We have secured a leased line broadband which is essential to meet the demands of video calling, which we believe is here to stay.

SGi's business ethos has revolved around investing in its core infrastructure and this office move is designed to give the team the best available infrastructure to allow us to continue to serve our growing client base.
