Celebrating Emyr Jones 32 years at SGi Consulting Engineers

We’d like to celebrate our Managing Director Emyr Jones on his 32 years at SGi Consulting Engineers.
 
Graduating from Swansea University, Emyr made the move to Manchester and began his career as a Graduate Structural Engineer in 1990, later specialising in infrastructure development.
 
Since taking overall ownership of the company in 2012, Emyr has managed the growth of SGi Consulting Engineers, and despite the Covid challenges SGi has surpassed its growth targets over the past two and has secured a 5 year pipeline of projects which one by one are coming to life in the office.
 
Overseeing both civil and structural teams which produce ongoing quality and professionalism, Emyr’s enthusiasm for construction is still as strong as it was 32 years ago, and he is passionate about inspiring the next generation of graduate and junior engineers who he enjoys mentoring.
