Shepherd Gilmour are pleased to report that work has started on the first phase of a major programme of refurbishment, alteration and extension to the world-famous Turnberry Hotel & Golf Resort.

Turnberry will host the 2009 British Open Golf Championships, and this phase of the development is intended to be complete before the championships start. The second phase of the works is due start in the autumn of 2009.
