Structural engineering
Shepherd Gilmour LLP offers a comprehensive structural engineering service, and has undertaken projects with construction values of up to £75m. We have a dedicated, flexible workforce with over 100 staff in total. We are able to meet the tightest deadlines and to offer a wealth of experience, skills and innovation, to successfully deliver the expectations of our clients.
We have experience in all methods of procurement including Design and Construct projects, where we have worked alongside most of the countries leading contractors. This has helped us to achieve some of the most cost-effective and buildable solutions possible. We use the latest design technologies, including state-of-the-art software which models entire buildings, allowing us to rapidly produce full schemes for our preferred solutions plus alternatives for comparison.
The variety of work we undertake is considerable. We have teams working on fast-track, computer aided projects, to be built using the very latest construction techniques. At the same time, others may be investigating a conversion or extension to a hundred year old building, constructed using materials and techniques now considered obsolete.
