BREEAM Excellence

Shepherd Gilmour are pleased to announce that the St. Peter's Square office development in the centre of Stockport has received a BREEAM 'Excellent' rating from the Building Research Establishment (BRE). BREEAM is the BRE's Environmental Assessment Method and its purpose is to improve the sustainable credentials of construction projects.


Shepherd Gilmour are engaged as consulting engineers on the development which will provide 50,000 sq.ft. of Grade A office space & being developed by BAM Properties (formerly HBG Properties).


Shepherd Gilmour's Director for the project, Ian Bruton commented, "We are delighted to be involved with this project which pushes forward the sustainable construction agenda. Gaining BREEAM recognition has become an important part of the construction landscape, and many of our projects now demand an 'Excellent' rating.
